Cranky Search Engine and HealthLine

Clearly I am a bit biased on the subject since Healthline has penned a deal with EONS & Cranky.com BUT I have to say that I am really excited (for EONS) about the amount of discussion Cranky has received [links].

Even before Healthline was in discussions with EONS, I was a big fan of the site and product. Not only did I think the idea (generally) was wonderful (Hey! The web and social networking isn’t just for youngsters!) but I thought the UI and services that are provided are better than those that are provided for the younger crowd. Their lifemap product alone is enough to make you want to turn to myspace and ask then when they are going to do some actually interesting. I want the lifemap!

Now, I know what some you might be thinking – Kris… you’re not over 50. How could you possible know so much about EONS if you’re too young to even register for an account? Well, folks, believe it or not I have dirty secret. And that dirty little secret is that on EONS I am 51 years old woman from Edgewater, NJ named Parsimony. And yes, I know… Parsimony is a wicked hot name.

Point is, I am really happy for EONS and Cranky (and yes, I would be saying this even if Healthline wasn’t involved with them). I love Cranky’s layout and, again, wish that their product was targeted to my demographic b/c I like it better that the SE’s I currently use.
